Westchester is defined by common-sense, mainstream American values, but those values have come under attack recently. As our County Executive, George will make sure that we never waver from our commitment to equality, fairness and opportunity for all.

George has been a strong and steadfast defender of Planned Parenthood, and will always work to ensure that they are able to continue providing health care and reproductive health services to women across our county and our region.

As Chair of the Legislature when Westchester created the County Human Rights Commission, George is committed to the Commission’s mission of ending discrimination in employment, housing, and all public accommodations. In light of the recent rise in anti-Semitic attacks in our County, George has sponsored legislation to expand the definition of Hate Crimes to include religious based Community Centers, like the JCC, and he will work to ensure that all people in Westchester are treated fairly regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or veteran status.
